Shelley “Smooches” Taylor has been writing prose that reimagines the cultural experiences that have impacted black audiences in the 21st century. The author is a writing studies professor, a local advocate and licensed social worker. She is currently residing in Irvington, NJ. Her most recent work “Black Ice” a personal response to cold poetry will be released in 2025.
